"Child Abuse Awareness Day Is Tomorrow!"

Tomorrow, April 4Th, is Child Abuse Awareness Day.

I am so very happy to say there are close to 200 people that have joined this event! Along with several Bloggers, many have joined on FaceBook. This means so much to me! When I decided to create the Event, it was with much trepidation. I had no idea if it would be embraced. Child Abuse is a difficult subject to talk about, to read about and to write about. I hope that I have opened the minds and hearts and have brought greater awareness to all those participating in the event. I thank you from my heart!

Safe Hugs
"us"

"The truth about our childhood is stored up in our body and although we repress it, we can never alter it. Our intellect can be deceived, our feelings manipulated. our perceptions confused and our body tricked with medication. But someday the body will present its bill, for it is as incorruptible as a child who, still whole in spirit, will accept no compromises or excuses, and it will not stop tormenting us until we stop evading the truth".

Thank you for sharing and creating the event. I am there is spirit. Right now my emotional state and mind-set is just not ready for signing up and participating this year.

This event is so important and should not go unnoticed!

Just tonight I blogged a bit about my childhood...not bad. But definitely stuff which never leaves me was stored way back then, more than 70 years ago.

You are so right to defend the defenseless, in any way.

I pray for your efforts. You show us that it takes but ONE to "doit".

Thanks for creating this event, Rainbow. Since April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, I'm going to do my best to put up several blog posts on the topic--raising awareness--all month long. Thanks for the motivation!
