"us"
"The truth about our childhood is stored up in our body and although we repress it, we can never alter it. Our intellect can be deceived, our feelings manipulated. our perceptions confused and our body tricked with medication. But someday the body will present its bill, for it is as incorruptible as a child who, still whole in spirit, will accept no compromises or excuses, and it will not stop tormenting us until we stop evading the truth".

**Pokes head in and waves at Sueann to let her know she is still around** Hi! I decided to pop in and see how you are doing. From the previous post, I gather your difficulties have come to a tipping point, or just about. For the record, I think your psychologist SIL knows doodly squat about psychology! Where did she get her degree, from the Internet??? Sheesh. I'm no psychologist, but even I know bottling things up inside is not a good thing! And you can't let go of things until you've first examined them to fully understand your problems and WHY you are holding on to them. Only then can you truly "let go." Huge hugs, my friend.
